Ready for the Beach
I didn’t go to the beach at all last summer, but this summer I am making it a priority. I am going to Wildwood this weekend and then have a trip to Seaside Heights planned in about one week. All the beautiful pictures of fat gals at the beach are inspiring me to do the same

OOTD Tuesday
Dress - ASOS Curve // Shoes - thrifted // Purse - Barr Bella (gifted)
I can’t think of a snappy name for this one. I purchased this dress from a seller on Tumblr about a half a year ago, and it took me a while to put together an ensemble that worked. This bag, gifted to me by my mother-in-law to be and good friend Sally, made it all come together.
I’d like to be able to wear breezy dresses like these more often but it’s hard to find things like this in good quality. This dress is from ASOS Curve - it’s size 20, and my mother had to help me take it in at the bust/shoulders. I also tightened the waistline a bit to make it a better fit. I’ve never been able to be happy with a dress without some slight alterations. I love this dress, but it’s so short and low-cut, it’s only appropriate for dates. I need more opportunities to wear it!!
I wish I had a better shot of my makeup. I was going for a sixties look with the flipped hair. Love the sixties!
